The fund has helped families with travel expenses to visit their love ones in hospitals, to acquire special handicap devices, and assist with home care costs and equipment. In addition, the fund has provided assistance and financial support in sending special care packages to troops overseas and helped in purchasing goods and equipment for hospitalized veterans of the Iraqi war.
